Making Money from adwords

Options
I'm in the process of setting up a small business online, one-pager sales pages and then weekly news emails with some sales emails thrown in occasionally.

I'm using adwords to try and get a good google ranking but have been having problems getting traffic.
I write a list of adwords with a maximum bid per click and a maximum daily budget and the adwords tools tells me I should be getting 30-odd clicks a day with my ad in position 1-3.
This would be fine, except then when I check on progress, adwords then tells me none of my adwords are showing due to low bids, or poor quality.

I'm pretty new to adwords and it's being a bit hard going - anyone got any good hints and tips when it comes to getting good google rankings without paying huge money?

Many thanks
Trust me.... I know what I'm doing.

Make sure your pages have unique meta data. Also use social media to help get link backs to your site, so twitter, face book etc. Read the affiliate guide here: http://www.sureboom.com/ i think thats what your trying to do? Questions here: http://talk.sureboom.com/forumdisplay.php?f=24

I am no expert but I have just started to use adwords to get my advert shown when certain keywords are searched for. I dont really understand all the details of it yet but i know that the quality score depends on a number of factors such as:-
relevance of your advert to the seach keyword, does your ad title containg the keyword?
Landing page quality, make sure your landing page contains the keyword and is relevant to the keyword also use the keyword a few times in the text and title of your landing page. Also try and make the page informative about the keyword not just to sell stuff.
The more people click on your ad (Click through Rate) the higher the quality score will be and the more money Google earn so it is in their interest to show your add higher up the search results page if people are interested in it.

Adwords accounts for 25 % of clicks on the search results page where as the normal non sponsered links account for 75% so it is also worth trying to get your webpage listed as far up the google search results as possible using search engine optimisation (SEO) which is what i am investigating at the moment.

    Hope this helps
