Redundancy ... help!

Hi,
I am hoping someone can advise.
My job role has been made redundant and I was given options of other roles that the new structure ‘proposes’. There also was an option of applying for voluntary redundancy if I did not want to re-apply for the available jobs. I applied for VR and it has been accepted. The 90-day consultation has just ended.
I have not received a letter of confirmation of last day of work or payments, I should get this by 2nd week of June. They said that we would get our notice period paid off and that we do not have to work it. However, my last day of work will be end July.
So, when does my notice – period actually start? From the day they give me my letter ? Does that mean I am actually working my notice – period?

Thankyou
T

They should give you official notice best in writing rememebr notice can be longer than the minimum

Are they offering PILON or garden leave?

If they say your last day will be end of July

If garden leave you will work your notice period.
If PILON they pay you your notice as extra money.

How long have you worked there minimum notice will be 1 week per year or contract if longer.

For redundancy they need to add on notice to calculate the number of years so if close an anniversary of your start date that could be important
