normally you have to book the main car parks in advance with the tickets, but I've always been able to park on someones drive near the stadium - just keep your eyes open as you get close (normally up the 'closed' side roads).
Traffic is always a nightmare there - arrive early, leave late!if it's more than 10 stone, and that hairy, it's probably not a dog...it may be a wookie.0 -

As Porker suggests, if you are going to drive then leave early. The A316 gets very busy with traffic and crowds crossing at the roundabout near the stadium. Coming in the back way via Hampton Hill and Kingston isn't any better.
Street parking is thin on the ground and strongly enforced by the friendly ticket wardens and police on matchdays. Official car park prices can be expensive.
Personally, I'd drive to and park at Feltham. You'll avoid all the congestion as its lies before Twickenham just off the M25/ M3/ A316. There is plenty of parking in and around the station although don't leave anything at all on-show in the car! I prefer to park down one of the nearby residential roads opposite the pond by the railway bridge, or even a SMALL bit further up near the Police Station.
Its only 1 or 2 stops (depending on whether its the fast/ slow train) and you can join in with all the friendly rugger banter all the way en-route to the stadium!'Money can't buy you happiness, but it does bring you a more pleasant form of misery'0 -
Thanks for the advice will try either feltham or even staines.
A lot better than the advice i recieved on the Saints board which included paying a parking fine or "there a housing estate near it isnt there?"I have links to financial and bankruptcy advisors
