Welcome back Ruby,
I'm so glad you posted as I'm in a similar situation with the overdraft. I was debt free in October, but since Christmas have been sleeping back into old habits. This time I am determined the account will be closed when the overdraft is clear.
I've often said that you only fail when you cease to try! Good luck for the second half of the year xxx

Firstly, you are human...we ALL make mistakes, it's how we learn most of the time.
Secondly, you've had the guts to come back and say things haven't been going so well, and you're willing to change again to sort it - this is the bit that makes up human, we sometimes get a second chance
Thirdly, take a deep breath, get a nice drink to hand and pop out that SOa so the many brilliant people on here can give you a hand** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

I do it all because I'm scared.

Thanks Kate. Sorry to hear things have been a bit rubbish for you, too. But hey, here we both are facing up to things! We can be proud of that. Thank you for your wise words and good luck to you, too.

Thank you! Such kind words. As I've said above, I'm definitely not looking for sympathy as I've been a silly, immature fool but support and advice would be wonderful right now! I know there are terrific people here so hopefully once my SOA is up tonight I can start looking for the tiny pinprick of light at the end of the tunnel.
Thanks for your post

I wish I knew of some sort of interactive calender that alerts mes when bill have to be paid.
Cheers.

Hiya, if you have Outlook email, you can set up recurring tasks with a reminder each month. You can probably also set a reminder/alarm on your mobile phone calendar, but it might not do the automatic recurrence.
Alternatively, pick a date, eg day after payday for me, and pay all bills in one sitting on the same day each month

Hello love
Thanks for the great message and for your really lovely words. I'm so heartened to know I'm not the only one to experience a relapse and that people are supportive rather than calling me stupid (which I deserve!). I know what you mean about becoming complacent, I paid off both cards and my overdraft and thought I was bulletproof! Idiot.
Just about to do my SOA. Will post on the DFW forum. Thanks again & good luck with your journey this time round. We're in it together!
