Natwest Cheque Clearing?

Hello,

I paid a cheque into Natwest on Saturday at midday, and am wondering when it would be cleared (ie. Funds available in my account).

Today it appears on my balance but not available yet?

    should be wednesday morning. I put a chq in my nat west friday and it had cleared this morning

    I believe it'll be Thursday, have you asked the bank

    Thanks, yes as Saturday is not counted as a banking day is it
