Temporary Connection for Dishwasher

After having my kitchen replaced a couple of months ago, including all new fitted appliances, I now want to sell off my old dishwasher on e-bay. It has been stuck in our conservatory since the kitchen has been finshed, but before selling I want to connect it up temporarily to prove it is all still in working order.
We have an outside tap right next to conservatory and I was wondering if it would be possible to run a feed from this into the dishwasher - and if so what sort of connector I would need. The waste water wouldn't be a problem as this could be fed outside into the grid.
Can someone suggest a way of connecting the dishwasher up?

Shouldn't be too difficult with a hose pipe. What sort of tap is outside? does it have a screw thread for connecting hose pipes. What's the distance between tap and dishwasher?
Why not test the dishwasher outside?
If it is a screw thread then a normal dishwasher connecting pipe should screw right on. If not you will have to cut the screw end off the pipe and attach to the tap in some other fashion. Maybe it (the dishwasher pipe) will attach to a hozelock hose connector, if it doesn't then stick a bit 10mm copper pipe inside it (the cut open dishwasher pipe) jubilee clip it tight, and do the same with a bit hose pipe on the other end of the copper pipe (this end will be more loose) so you might try pushing the copper pipe nearly all the way inside the dishwasher pipe then fit the hose pipe over the two together and jubilee clip it tight. There's going to be a bit of leaking hence test the machine outside.0
