DRO - Informing OR of change of circumstances

I need to update the OR on a change of my income, having recently started to receive Mat Allowance - but our tax credits dropped with the last payment by £150 difference and are still awaiting the renewal to be completed as well as any difference from the last tax year to be sorted - then we are expecting a second baby within the next 10 days - so obviously things will change yet again.... I am concious I need to address this - but hubby says to wait till we know what we have coming in/going out....Is there a time limit in which we must notify the OR or is it ok to wait a few more weeks?

I would say 21 days as with BR. So leave it until the 20th day, tell them there is a change in circumstances and can you have a new income/expenditure form. By the time they have sent that to you and it takes you 2 weeks or so to fill it in you can get away with a time frame of around 6 weeks so should know where you stand.0

Just spoke to the DRO Office at the OR and was told to hang fire until everything settles down and we know exactly what we have coming in/going out with new baby. Phew.....as if keeping up with tax credits wasn't bad enough, didn't fancy doing a new SOA every fortnight for the next couple of months! )0
