lol at antenna ... "I'll ask Margaret, she knows all the £5 shops...."
"None ? Ok ... I'll wait ......."0 -
BEN - Poundland sells everything for £1 - hence the name
Sometimes they have too much tat in stock so they flog it cheaper than £1 because they can't even sell it for £1,
If you are looking for something reduced to around £5 you need to go to a different shop where they don't sell everything for a quid !
To be honest I thought you were taking the mickey but I'm not sure now .. hehe ... Regards.0 -
i think ben was trying to find out if poundland had anything in for a pound that would have retailed for 5 pound therefore netting him 4 quid on the secret santa?0

Ben if you do want a secret santa that looks more expensive in my Poundland (Glasgow) they are selling paperback and hardback books at a pound each (!) and on the back some of the rrp prices are as much as £9.99. And you can just buy one if you want!0

A couple of years ago, we did secret santa at work, also had £5 limit. I chose a member of staff who was a Poundland freak and he was always nipping in for a bargin.
I ended up buying 5 of the madest items I could find and wrapping each one up in a poundland carrier bag. Can't remember all the items I got but they did include a bottle of aftershave and a Poundland lorry, went down very well at the time!0
