Hamish, why did you stop posting on HPC? Did you get banned because they'd had enough of your predictions being continuously correct?
Yes.
All of the prominent bulls got banned when it became clear we were right. In the words of a moderator, it was to "show newbies our arguments had no varacity"..... Although the 15 months of rising house price indices have rather proved the opposite.:DBut then again, the standard response on there to anything non-bearish is to be accused of being an EA, personal abuse and laughing smileys at the 'rediculous' suggestion that house prices are unlikely to crash 60-90%.
Indeed.
Sadly, many of that crowd have followed us over here, and now desperately troll this site engaging in ad hominem attacks.
As proved by the numerous instances of personal attacks and abuse on this thread, without a single attempt at debating the facts.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
