problems with youtube

Hi.
I use mozilla firefox, but when i put youtube on it automatically closes , any advice as i like this site

    Look in

    Firefox > Tools > Addons > Plugins

    Make sure that 'Shockwave Flash' is installed and not disabled.

    thanks for the reply bat999, done what you said and now get the message You need to upgrade your Adobe Flash Player to watch this video.
    any advice what to do for this

    Yes, upgrade it then.
    The latest version for Windows is 10.0.45.2

    There's no charge for updating your Adobe Flash Player plugin.

    I wanted to know as i downloaded a free program and then told me i had to pay and it was a lot also made problems with my laptop
    I have windows xp will the program you recommended work with my computer?
    have you got a link for the website, not sure what to go on

    If you haven't got Flash Player addon installed then you can get it from here:-

    I do go on that and download it but still when i access youtub shuts down completely

    Try using Internet Explorer instead of Firefox for YouTube then.
