How many cars do they sell a week on average?

I reckon half a dozen minimum to breakeven. Wages, rent, rates, insurance, telephone, advertising, website, refurb, mechanical repairs, MOTs etc etc.

We sell between 30-50 a month. We have about 50 in stock.

That's getting on for two a day and turning your whole stock each month.

But....do you think of yourself as backstreet?

To me backstreet means cars in the £500 - £2000 bracket with maybe 15-20 in stock. I doubt that requires more than 4-5 sales a week for what are usually not much more than one man bands..
