HELP PLEASE-Going from JSA to ESA and back again?!

Hi all, hopefully somebody can help me.

My partner was made unemployed due to ill health at the end of September last year. He went straight onto job seekers allowance contributions based until it ran out after 6 months at the end of March, and because he was having a nasty flare up at the time he went onto employment and support allowance contributions based again.

My question is now he is beginning to feel better, is he allowed to go back on job seekers allowance contributions based again after he stops employment and support allowance? Because his advisor at the job centre said before he signed off that he could make a fresh claim for contributions based job seekers allowance after 12 weeks considering it would be the new tax year if he signed on again, but because he has made a claim for employment and support allowance contributions based in the meantime and is currently receiving this does anyone know if this would still be ok?

Incase anyone suggest going onto Income based benefits, we're not entitled to them as I'm still employed, but on maternity leave.

Thank-you in advance :-)

Not yet....No offence to anyone, but we haven't found them to be the most helpful of people and can be very rude and obnoxious at times, so I was hoping someone on here might have known or been through a similar process.
