Friendly advice required re returning to Uni.

    You sound really determinded to do it despite all your problems which is really inspiring. Have you thought about doing the course part-time? That way you can take it a bit easier on yourself and work through more at your own pace.
  • I can't afford to do the course part time, I totally rely on student finance loans/grants.

    I guess it is looking like I've been doing the course part time due to the breaks from study I've had so far. It's sad for me sat the moment, as the friend I made when I first started 3 yrs ago, will be soon graduating & deep down I wish I could've been graduating alongside her.

    but you should feel proud that you haven't given up as most people would! you have the fighting spirit :)
    and you can go to her graduation and she can go to yours... two celebrations instead of one! ;)

    now at Uni as a Mature student -update: now has a First Class BA!

    Make sure that you join a social club there! Great way to get to know other students! Everyones there for a good time and they're all friendly! I've taken part in Scuba, climbing, ski clubs and going to try Skydiving club next year :D

  • Well still deciding whether to return to Uni. In fact tbh, I'm finding it hard even giving it some thought :o. I know if I don't start seriously considering the options, it'll hit me like a tonne of bricks & I'll be left making a sudden decision.
