Paypal echeque slow payment!!

I've paid for an ebay item with paypal, last friday, the funds were authorised to be taken from my bank account. However today my paypal account says the payment will be cleared on 29/08/06.
Should it take almost 2 weeks? How can I speed it up, I have a credit card as well.

Comments

  • You must have chosen to fund the payment with an echeque rather than using your PayPal balance, credit card or instant transfer.

Or possibly your credit card has been replaced recently and your paypal card details need updating?

I hate echeques, only had 3 in my ebay life but they are annoying and the "expected" date sometimes moves so you cannot bank on the money being their when expected

They take ages but at least you know the payment is on its way, fed up at the moment with postal orders and cheques which don't arrive.

If you do have a credit card on record with PayPal ask the seller to refund your echeque and then pay using your credit card on file with PayPal.

If you do not have a card on file with PayPal then it will take just as long to confirm the card with PayPal so may as well let the eCheque clear.
