Looking for an unusual course

Options
I am looking to study a fairly unusual course (not higher education). I know it isn't taught anywhere locally as i did a course in the same subject last year and had to travel 60 miles round trip once a week to do that. I want to take it to the next level and i am expecting to travel further to do the course - up to 2 hours drive away form home if necessary. Obviously i don't know what colleges there are in a 100 miles radius and which of these even offer the subject .

Can anyone suggest a website that is up-to-date where you can do a subject search to find all colleges in the UK who offer the subject?

Thanks

How about asking your lecturer from your last course? I don't know of a nationwide further ed course search I'm afraid

Hmm tried that one. She used to teach the follow-on course but has just had another baby so is not teaching at all for the next 3 years. Wouldn't even consider a kind of private tuition arrangement. She couldn't suggest alternatives as she was the only person teaching that particular course that she knew of in the north of england!

I'm intrigued - which course is it?
The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.
  • I've always found Kippers and Custard as a starter a fairly unusual course
