OpenOffice software

OpenOffice document writer (Words alternative) has Times New Roman as a default font. I know that in Words you can change the default font easily, but I cannot work out how to do it in OpenOffice.
Does anyone know?

All done now.
Times New Roman is so naff, I cannot stand it.

Check that you have Views > Toolbars > Formatting enabled and you'll have what you need right in front of your eyes :-)

Is it a similar process for the other OpenOffice programs?
