The duck I got out this morning has not defrosted as I left it in the box (its a Costco special) so I am taking the kids to the pub for dinner. We can have the duck tomorrow!

Great news! Hope this thread will be helpful for other women who find themselves in this position too. The waiting is a truly horrible experience.

It was all fine? That must feel like a huge weight off your shoulders! Pleased for you! (Hadn't replied as I really didn't know what to say, but had been thinking of you and watching for the result as I'm sure others have too!) Hope your feeling much better as a result :)
  • I am now in the same position. Just had a recall after mammogram 2 weeks ago. I'm so fearful its ridiculous. my mother died of BC when she was 79. all your posts have made me feel much better. My appt is on Tuesday. I am 65. Just reconsidering my drinking habits!!
  • There's no point in saying don't worry, you wouldn't be human if you didn't. Just try to keep busy and please come back after your appointment. Will be thinking about you on Tuesday.

Here's hoping you get an all clear tomorrow and enjoy a celebratory drink! Hope you're doing Ok now - I know you won't be relaxing and not thinking about it so won't say anything like that, but just try to keep positive and let us know how you get on
  • Like so many, I have been through the recall, the biopsy and the worry. Getting the all clear is a wonderful feeling. Really hope all is well for you. x
