Berry bush?.........need help

looks like a black currant with some sort of wooly aphid attacking it. I would try spraying with some soapy water initially to try to discourage it.

Looks like a blackcurrant alright, but I would have thought it was an aphid problem, treat the same way, but go over the leaves first and squash any aphids you find. Then spray.
The aphids will be under the leaves, the sticky stuff is their poo if you like.
I can't really see very well, but if you look at the growing points, you will see twisted leaves, take off the whole growing point and bin it. That will take away the things the aphids want most and it will regrow.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
