Great Universal

Before I start I am new here and I'm guessing this is the right place to put it.

I have an account with them and I haven't used them for years but they owe me £50.00 as I paid them quickly if I remember correctly and thought £50.00 in credit is a good thing.

So money is now abit tight and I went on my account to find out my credit limit has dropped to £100 (it was over £800 many years ago). So I guess it's because I never used them for a while........

I ordered something from them and the cheeky bas:mad::mad::mad:ds have credit rejected me and my £100 limit has been taken away with £0 next to it!

Now here is why I am here and hopefully someone else who uses them more or works for them (unlucky) could tell me what this means;

Credit Limit £0.
Available to Spend £50.
Balance -£50.

Where did the minus come from? Do these people make there own rules up?

Can anyone point me in the right direction of getting this £50 back with some advice?

Many thanks.

    Have you phoned them? I'd do so in a calm manner and it might get resolved quickly.

    This is what I think the above MAY mean:
    If your credit limit is £0, then you can't order something and pay for it over a period of time.
    However, it says you have £50 available to spend - which is probably the £50 credit that you think you have.
    Some systems show credit balances as -£ so that might be saying you have a credit balance of £50.

    The only way to find out is to ring them and ask.
    Don't give them any of this though :mad::mad::mad::mad:.

    The balance is what you Owe to them. Therefore you owe -£50 (i.e you are £50 in credit). Just call and ask for the money to be returned to you.
