Dell Inspiron1420 DEAD

My Dell Inspiron 1420 is dead all of a sudden..........I dont have a recovery CD

Tried booting up from InternalHDD but no luck!

Any help is much appreciated

when you say dead what actually comes up?

bios? boot screen? does it flash blue before restarting? if you press f8 can you get to safe mode?

what version of windows do you use?
