On a side note, The Canaries are not the EU Fiscally! So you can't bring back "unlimited" tobacco and booze. Limits are something like 200 cigarettes, 1 Litre spirits per person......0

Ah, so you have taken out two single trip policies and chosen the wrong 'exact' destination on one of them???
I needed 2 policys.
One for July, for Spain.
One for October, for the Canaries.
I started with the July one, did it all, then when I went to do the 2nd one, I realised I'd put the Canaries for the first one.
So I've only bought the one, and all the details and dates and DOB's/names etc are right, it's just that I've put down the destination as the Canaries when it should be Spain.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

Out of interest, how did the price of booking 2 single trip policies compare to taking out one annual policy? I've always bought annual but the last 2 years I ended up just doing 2 trips each year0

would it not work out cheaper to do an annual insurance policy or are different people going on the 2 holidays? i think children are automatically included in annual policies Iif that's your situation)0

I haven't ever had an annual policy, unless your Q was for someone else?
I didn't even check the price for an annual policy, but my guess is that it would be more expensive than just under £16.would it not work out cheaper to do an annual insurance policy or are different people going on the 2 holidays? i think children are automatically included in annual policies Iif that's your situation)
5 of us going in July. Me and OH going in October.
It's only £7.85 for each policy anyway.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Hey,
When you buy any travel insurance there is a 14 day cooling off period where you can cancel the insurance completely free of charge, no questions asked.
Just ring the insurance company, quote your policy number and cancel the insurance on the incorrect policy and rebook with the correct destination.0
