Don't be such a dishonest scrub.
Send the cheque back with a brief note, or just tear it up and bin it.
Presumably, if the shoe was on the other foot, and you had paid them twice in error, you would expect a refund?
Nobody here is going to help you justify your dishonesty.0 -
phone them and explain. it may be that they sent you another as a sorry. but it might be a genuine mistake.
honesty is always the best policy. if you cash it , and in two months time they ask for it back when they realise the mistake, would u give it back ?0 -
Have to agree with Proc on this one. It may well be their mistake and if you send it back they may reward your honesty with a discount voucher or something - reep what you sow and all that! Finally The Rock has come back to MSE....0

woah!
Theres nothing dishonest in asking, im sure, at one point in your life, you would consider doing the same, at least the OP has the sense to ask!
OP , it is best to tear it up, dont go out of your way to tell them, but dont take it as it may bite you back in the bum at the most inconvenient of times (sods law)Back by no demand whatsoever.0
