Moving Home - Changing Address / Post Redirection etc.

There seem to be various websites now that offer to help you with changing your address with various establishments, and I've noticed you can pay Royal Mail to redirect your post.

I was just wondering if anyone has used any of these services and can offer their recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

I've used the Royal Mail redirect service - it's not too bad, but don't count on it. Some of my post still went to the old house - luckily the new lady was happy to hand it all over to a friend who lives nearby. However, make sure you change the important things yourself - especially banks etc!!

Have always used Royal Mail's redirect service for three months after moving. Have never had any problems though I generally make sure I send a standard letter to the important people as soon as I move (banks, insurance, SLC...) so that the redirect is just for way of sweeping up the post which slips through the net before my letters are acted on/I forget to inform them.

We used the Royal Mail redirection service a few went to our old address, but we left a forwarding address so they arrived in some way shape or form. It's taken us a month to inform everyone ourselves and to be honest it's not a problem.
