Ski for Free for Charity

Hi All,

On the 22nd of October we are organising a fundraiser at Xscape at Braehead in Glasgow to raise funds for Cancer Research.

The plan is to Ski Everest using Xscape's real snow slope which is 200 metres long so this means 45 runs.

If you raise over 100 pounds then you will get your registration fee back and that means you ski for free. (Xscape usually charge about 26 pounds an hour)

If you want to Know more email me at My Email

Cheers to all

Robbie

  • I so wish I lived closer to there....couldn't possibly live further away....Devon/Cornwall! I love skiing - I lived in a ski resort in Europe for 7 years, used to teach. i miss it at the moment as I'm stuck here for a couple of years!

What a fun idea for charity fundraising though - and £100 isn't such a mammoth amount to attempt to raise. :D

Life is difficult - please be gentle
  • I'll be snowboarding this and just got my sponsorship form in today (www.justgiving.com/sponsor-nat). Really looking forward to it, though I doubt if I'll be able to walk afterwards...
If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor...

Yep, it was a great event - managed to raise over £600 and did it dressed as a nun (as you do). :D

Unfortunately Stevie didn't hang around to take photos of the second group so I haven't got any pictures.
