Oooo. It would appear that I got someones attention yesterday! Some half baked illiterate lout sent me a PM to attempt to intimidate me. Who? Why WeePaul, said owner of Abbey Car Care in Mallusk. I wouldn't want to be accused of defamation now, since he is so keen to throw his "legal weight" around. So to justify my opinion:

• "half baked" means that in my opinion he has absolutely no knowledge of the law or how it operates since he loves to make threats which he is utterly inacapable of carrying through
• "illiterate" - WeePaul - you are aware that the English language uses capital letters at the beginning of sentences? Spaces between words and sentences? It is also really helpful if words are correct and sentences make sense? Because the attempt at an intimidating PM was, in fact, linguistic rubbish and quite laughable.
• "lout" - well that is what bullies are called in the area where I live, and it certainly applies to someone who throws their weight around making threats.

Now this "defence" from WeePaul - PM'd to me because he hasn't got the guts to answer any of my legal argument on a public forum (and reported to the MSE team, by the way) is most interesting. He says that the OP is a woman. Strange, because as I said yesterday, it's quite hard to prove anything based on an anonymous post on a public form. Especially since, for an absolute fact, I happen to be certain who the poster is, and "she" isn't female. Anyone can claim to be anyone on a public forum - witness Brian77 who I also happen to know is a member of your staff WeePaul. What did you do - threaten him with loosing his job if he didn't pose as a customer and praise your services? Because you do appear to like trying to push people around.

As I said, I really do not care one jot about the alleged crappy service your poxy little garage provides. But I am fascinated by the fact that, as any businessperson, large or small, knows, there will disatisfied customers, no matter what you do. This is parr for the course and "business 101". If you are satisfying most of your customers then one or two who aren't satisfied won't do any damage, especially if you employ a cutomer services approach to try to resolve issues that customers aren't happy with - so why are you so intent on defending yourself when someone expresses an opinion that merely said that they wouldn't recommend your services? Personally, I wouldn't recommend them either. Not because I know anything about the standards of your car care - but because you are a bully who attempts to intimidate people into submission, and this says perhaps more about the response they might get from you if they dared to complain about the services you provide. Perhaps your potential customers would like to consider this aspect of your personality when deciding whether to engage your services?

You don't believe that I am a barrister - fine, I don't care one way or the other. However, my legal opinion, provided above, is open to anyone to judge as accurate, balanced against your "considered" and "intelligent" input - which, by the way, appears to have been removed by the MSE team. But remember one thing. I do know who you are because you have admitted it - you are the owner of Abbey Car Care in Mallusk. And further attempts to intimidate me will give you a unique opportunity to find out just how good a barrister I am.

Whilst you continue this campaign of trying to intimidate people who disagree with you, you are simply ensuring that this thread stays "right up there" and your services and behaviour are getting noticed. I therefore, respectfully, suggest that you back off with your threats before your own actions result in lost custom. We wouldn't want all the good people around your area finding out what sort of person you really are, would we?
