Can someone please help me?

I have a Canoscan Lite 2.0 which makes copies ok but when I scan to file or Desktop all I get is a page of Hyper Language (or simular).

What has gone wrong?

When you scan, what type of file is being created (i.e. for Windows, what three letter file extension does it have) and what are you opening that file with?

That wasn't what I asked, but it sounds like you are using the OCR package that comes bundled with Canon scanners (OmniPage SE? - I can't remember now) and that it is not working properly.

It may be simplest just to uninstall and reinstall the s/w from the Canon CD or from the downloads on their website.

I have Scanned an Linked scan image to C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe which opens in Internet Exporer - when I put the file on an email to send it wants to open as Nero Media Files and wont open

    What now!
