If that figure is right then yes you'll be entitled to it, need to claim before baby is 3 months old

It does not take your income into account, only the qualifying benefit you receive, On considering tax credit, they take only the child tax credit element into account, NOT the full award.

To qualify with tax credit as your qualifying benefit, you must be receiving Child tax credit higher than £548 a year or if you have a baby under one, higher than £1095 a year. If the figure of £65 is the total amount of tax credit you would receive per week you need to find out how much of that £65 consists solely of CTC.

You won't be able to claim before you have the baby as both you and your partner would have to be on benefits to be eligible. However if after the baby is born you and your partner receive the higher rate of child tax credits you can claim it then. You can use the calculator on the inland revenue site to see what level you will be on. If so you have a time limit of 3 months after the baby is born in which to claim the grant. On another note have you applied for the £190 Health in Pregnancy Grant. All women are eligible to it. If not ask your midwife for a form once you are at least 25 weeks pregnant.
