Asda refund policy

Just wondered if you could advise me.
I bought a pair of sandals at the Trafford Park,Asda in Manchester yesterday.
I picked up what said a size 7 on the hanger but are actually a size 6.
I know I was stupid for not noticing but I did'nt have my reading glasses with me and since they were for someone else I did'nt try them on.
My problem is I am now back in my home town of Newcastle and I won't be back in Manchester for at least a month.
Basically I need to know do Asda exchange (with the receipt) goods bought in other Asda's or am I stuck with the shoes.
Thankyou.
