I decided to order some pre-owned games from Gamestation, my local one has rubbish, I 've done this before and they have been excellent. Well, not this time. Ordered 4 games (2 4 £20). In total £40-fine. This was last Tuesday, I got my confirmation email, then one saying order being processed. Phoned them on Sat, only to be told that they only had one order on their system and that it was out of stock- yet my order processing mail had 4 games on it. The guy said sorry but he didn't know what was going on and that i should phone today.
Well, I have been trying all day (with the exception of shopping for 2 hrs), rings out until answerphone says phone back. I am so annoyed:mad: Not only am I wasting my time phoning them, but its a 0845 number with no equivalent. Arrrrh:mad: :mad: :mad:

0845 number though is 'local rate' I thought - "0845 Local Rate number enables customers to call you from anywhere in the UK for the price of a local call.

it's "lo-call" rate. not quite the same thing. Plus as it's non geographic, you cant use your mobile minutes or similar...The word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.

I use my mobile for all calls because I don't have a landline. 0845/0870 numbers aren't included in mobile packages, so cost me more.0

Have you tried emailing them through their website to try and sort it out, I know it's not as good as speaking to someone over the phone and their is no quarentee on how quick they will get back to you but at least it wont cost you anything0 -
lo-call is the enemy of moneysavers, it costs me 0p per min to make national rate calls, but 4-10p for lo-call numbers, and they make money from these complaint lines, grr!!
