Who is graduating this summer?
I am graduating (hopefully
) in a BA (hons) in Educational Studies with early childhood. I am hoping I may scrape a first, but it depends on my results in this semester
I have hired my graduation gown and photos and booked my tickets. I am really lucky as my uni does not charge for tickets to the graduation, but there are limited tickets, so my gramps, who has terminal bone cancer,
and my husband are attending and I am hoping that we will get an extra ticket for my nan. It is hard deciding on who is coming, but I have promised my parents that they could come to my postgraduate graduation. I am so excited, but at the same time petrified

My graduation is on 14th July. I booked my gown and bought 2 graduation tickets for my Dad and Brother. The whole thing has cost me £60. I didn't bother with photo's as they are too expensive and my Dad can take photo's for free!0

Not graduating this year but wanted to congratulate everyone who is

I'll be graduating next week. My university charges us £54 to become a member of the Council and therefore be allowed to graduate and then there was the gown on top of that. Tickets are free though. At least when I graduate next year from my Masters I'll only have to pay for the gown.0

I get my results next week and graduate mid July.
It looks like my gramps will either be too ill to attend or maybe passed away as he is deteriating more quickly than we thought.0 -

That is awful, sorry to hear that alwaysonthego. Good luck with your results I am sure you will do well! I got a 2:2, enough to eventually do an MA in Social work anyway

I am starting a MA in Social Work in September, perhaps we should form a support group. Well done on your 2:2!! :j:jdrinkupretty wrote: »That is awful, sorry to hear that alwaysonthego. I graduate on the 19th July, got myself a 2:1 in Mining Engineering which I'm well chuffed with. I only have to pay £38 (only!!) for gown hire, the rest is free. I'm looking forward to it but my ceremony starts at 10.30am which is bit of a ballache! The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha
I'm sorry for the demon I've become but you should be sorry for the angel you are not.0
