Noisy New Washer/Dryer?

Hi had a new washer/Dryer fitted, appeared extremely noisy like a small steam engine. After various cycles/ relevelling found that a small piece of wrapping still lodged underneath. Even thouigh it had been unpacked for us & fitted. Now the problem is solved, I was just wondering will the drum be damaged in some way because of this being left behind? & running it through various cyles. Indesit Prime
