CSS not showing in Firefox?

Having recently setup a new webpage using CSS for the first time, I now find on testing that it's not displaying the style in Firefox (it's fine on IE).
Is there something obvious I'm missing, or is it just bad coding by me?

Here's a tip: develop for FireFox, fix for IE.

Is your style sheet valid?

In Firefox, webpages can have several css sheets for different themes, so you can click "View -> Page Style -> [Style Sheet name]", there's also an option for "No style", so check to make sure "No Style" isn't selected.

If it isn't selected, select it anyway, then select "Basic Page style" again, to check if there's any difference.
