Can someone please help. I have a personal current account with Yorkshire Bank. I am a marketing consultant and have cheques paid to me personally. Yorkshire are telling me that I cannot use my personal account to pay in cheques, I HAVE to open a Business Account but I really do not want to. Does anyone know where I stand on this one? I have called the FSA, Banking Code Board and the Banking Ombudsman. No-one can help. Thank you.
