I went to my local Co-op and they took them, after the cashier asking the manager what section she needed to put them in the till under. So I got 2 packets of tortilla chips, 2 jars of salsa and a packet of dark choc digestives to hide at the back of the fridge
I also told the cashier about the forum and wrote down the details for her, so she might get lucky and win something.0 -
i e,mailed coupon net about my store refusing home printed vouchers....apparently all the stores have agreed to take them and they are going to send my local tesco an education pack reminding them of this.
i get all vouchers mailed to me now and take the top 3/4 of the letter with me as well as the voucher ready for an argument.....some cashiers accept them no probs, some insist on calling manager, others trya nd refuse them....all in one store so they clearly dont all know the rules. keep trying is all i can suggest0 -
....and Morrisons wouldn't accept my McCains ovenfries voucher either! :mad:Remember
There's no such thing as an idle thought
Many thanks to :A EVERYONE :A who posts on here.......I :heart2: you guys :kisses3:0 -
I think Tesco's must just have a thing about vouchers. I won a years supply of strongbow last year. I get one voucher a month for a pack. Tesco refused to accept them so I only use Asda or morrisons now.Comping again0

I've seemed to have the opposite problem, its ASDA who won't take the vouchers from me, Tesco have been fine and have redeemed more than one at a time at Tesco. My husband asked their customer services people and showed them the vouchers with the letters and they said they were fine as long as he got the actual product stated on the coupon. Asda only accept one per person per transaction, and they won't allow you to put, say 2 transactions through seperately.
I think you should email or write to their customer services enclosing a screen print of the winning message and a copy of the email stating that you have won which shows the link to print the voucher.
I can understand the Misuse part of it, but each voucher is unique, with a different reference number and your name printed on it, so its not as if they are being photocopied and dished out. My mam and sister also won on the doritos and I had to print their vouchers as they don't have a printer, and have had no problems (other than asda) HTH xSmoke-free since 7/12/2011 :0)

Took my Mcvities ones to the Iceland last week, maybe not the best idea! Calling over different members of staff etc and all wondering what to do. Luckily in the end they managed to manually enter the voucher, but by this time the queue behind was massive and full of people moaning!0

Coupons have been a nightmare.
Sainsburys, I tried to use two in two seperate transactions to have some busy body team leader get all control freaky and came straight over againt after the front end team leader came to assit me to say he'd already said no to two vouchers, even though I was trying to offload one set. He was so adament on me not using two even though I pointed out the different serial numbers on them and then asked when I could use my second one??
TESCO was not as difficult, Got the B.O.G.O.F. and the lad behind the customer service desk on New Street who was kinda lush happily put them through when I insisted I phone ahead and was told it would be okay
I worked for TESCO and you guys have hit it on the head, there is no policy with coupons I had one woman when I covered checkouts come in with SOMERFIELD vouchers and YES I did accept them because I was allowed to :S
So strange, but there if there is/was a policy it's not educated correctly. I didn't mind letting customers getting their money's worth.0 -
tesco and asda dont accept printed vouchers anymore at list in my area north londonA rule of the universe is, the more you give, the more you get0
