Can anyone kindly tell me how I can order a tax certificate online from Halifax?
All my other accounts have sent me one but not Halifax and I can't find how to get one apart from by phone. Thanks in advance.

Have Halifax actually paid you any interest in the last tax year?Newly_retired wrote: »Can anyone kindly tell me how I can order a tax certificate online from Halifax?

If they have, they normally send out tax certificates in April / May. I have had mine.
To order online, log in, go to the specific account and select "Tax Information" from the left hand menu.
If you "Request tax information" this will give you the numbers that you want to play with, but won't provide the tax certificate. Select "Request Tax Certificate" for that!0 -
Yes, I have interest showing on a couple of accounts. Thanks I have found the tax information button on two savvings accounts. However I am stuck for what to do about my Reward current account as there is no such button.0

Just give them a ring and they will send one through, usually received in a few days. Tedious start with the multitude of security questions, then they are very helpful. Online stuff sometimes fails for the certificates especially on accounts that have closed down (1yr fixes that have finished and been transferred etc) but no problem over the phone as they can acess the accounts (including BOS) straight away. Good luck with this.

You can either phone them or print and post this form: http://www.halifax.co.uk/HelpCentre/pdf/BkgTaxCertRequestHx.pdfNewly_retired wrote: »Yes, I have interest showing on a couple of accounts.
