The April payment is for over the summer. Hence why it's more.
For final years, this doesn't apply.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
50p saver #40 £20 banked

University is meant to be a learning experience!
( Did he not add the sums he's received together and realise that they totally his funding offer?)0 -
Most students work the summer holidays - bit of cash for going out and the rest to try and get their bank account in the black for September.Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame

I put the majority of my summer loan (along with money I had recieved from the tax man as they had finally got told I was a student) in an ISA, along with half of House of fraser in my wardrobe. Set me up nicely though for 3 years (more money in savings, no need for clothes etc). From experience though, and from my friends now that had receieved there spring/summer loan, they just use it all for a booze up and a 'summers freshers weeks' after the exams.
But as "Oldernotwiser" (love the name) said, university is a learning experience.0 -
I have been told of how much i am going to get and when and i have divided the total over 52 weeks so i am covered over the holidays too, yes i will not have as much in term time but it is enough.I love War Of The Worlds:heart2:

mine works out as £50 more for the summer!!!
that wouldn't cover my rent let alone anything... I just hope I can find work - I've applied to over 50 jobs so far and only one interview for freelance work (today) so fingers crossed.
I've worked for 24 years so I have tons of experience in skilled work so you'd think I'd be able to find something... and a fast typist so even that would do but work does seem harder to find than normal! and my part time freelance job has gone because the company folded :-(
(ps: I'm a mature student and no family besides my brother)Light bulb moment April 07: [strike]£3,655 [/strike] Oct 07: [strike]£2,220[/strike] now 0 - 3 years of Uni debt to be added at a later datenow at Uni as a Mature student -update: now has a First Class BA!0
