connection help

Options
Hi
Don't know if anyone can help me.
I have broadband through AOL, i have 2 laptops and a desktop at home, the laptops are wireless but the desktop isn't so i use a belkin adapter to connect it. They have all worked fine for years, but yesterday AOL went down and i could not connect, it is working again today and i can get online on my 2 laptops but not the desktop, the ip address seems to of gome missing it is saying 0.0.0.0, i rang AOL and they told me to run cmd, ipconfig and that said Media Disconnected.....i don't understand what has happened, they have told me i need to ring my computer supplier and get a new ip address from them, does this sound right.

Hope someone can help.
Thanks in advance.
