I see what you mean now Zazen..like I said, me & gardening is like chalk & cheese, but much, much harder

I had thought I could kill the weeds off, lay some turf & some paving & that would be it. Seems not then, without a LOT of physical labour. Hmmm..back to the drawing board then.

You could, but they would grow back again - they are weeds so they have evolved prepared to do battle against the odds to survive.
If it was that easy we'd all have carpetted gardens
