ESA Assessment Phase

I have been claiming ESA since last October but have had numerous problems with JCP so payments have been on and off (but I have always been back paid). However, my fiance moved in with me in April and we let ESA know and filled the relevant form in. ESA then stopped my payments again while they sorted out our new circumstances.
I received a letter today saying that for the first week of my fiance and I living together our payment dropped from £50.50 to £37.30, then the following week it's been increased to £84.05, then the following week it's been increased to £102.75 and from 4th June it will be £78.90. Each time the reason they have given is 'a change of money coming in' but that would suggest our income has changed 4 times in 4 weeks which it definately hasn't.
Also, because I am still in the assessment phase, what is the maximum amount we are entitled to? According to the Direct.gov benefits calculator, we could get £118 on income support, but £130 if I'm finally awarded a group for ESA.
What should our next move be?
Any advice would be great

All the letters say there is a change in the amount of money coming in. I'd ignore them on that front.0
