Quick question re: Egg Money

I recently BT a positive amount from my Egg Money card which left a small positive balance on the account. I now want to make a purchase which will leave me with a negative balance in the same statement period, can I do this without incurring any extra charges? I intend to clear the full balance when payment is due on next statement.

If someone can answer quickly please, as I have a purchase pending payment, that would be great. Cheers

Yes, you can do this and will get cashback. So long as you pay in full by your due date, you will not incur any charges.

Depending on the size of your small positive balance you may also get interest on it at 4%. Sounds as tho it will be too small but if you to get any interest it will not be paid out until March 2007.

The interest on a positive balance is paid monthly, or at least it has been so far on my account, it's the cashback earned on spending that is payable annually in March.

Apologies, you are right. The 1% money back you earn by spending on the card is paid back to you in March. The 4% paid on positive balances is paid monthly. Once again sorry.
