I went into my local today, not a very big store, and got a few bargains.

Expanding foam polyfilla, have been meaning to buy some of this for a while, 500ml for £1.75, what didn't make sense was that the smaller 300ml size was over £4 and the bigger one about £8 - so quite a bargain. I also got a chisel knife for 16p, 4" brush for painting my fence outside for 36p, some small sanding sheets to use with a block for 27p and a pack of 3 bristle professional brushes for 87p - so 5 items for £3.41 and all things I will use.

Some of the items that were listed with yellow SELs had no stock left but there was a supply next to it with no price so I checked the barcode and found they were the same item, if I had just looked where the yellow SELs were I would have only bought 1 item.

Now I have been told more stuff being reduced will have to check out again next time I am in! Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the heads up OP. Will have to go in again now. Went in on Saturday morning and got lots of packs of bulbs. Really good discounts on them, so well stocked up for a while. I hate it when the bulb goes, and there aren't any around, and end up running round the house swapping them. They had halogen ones reduced too. These are normally quite expensive. Also had lots of other bits and bobs reduced. In my one, they had lots of kids water bottle things and lunch bags reduced too.

Yep many discontinued lines are between 50% to 90% off if you are lucky, enjoy your Bargains everyone :beer:

Just had a quick look on the Wilkinsonplus website and some of the reductions are in fact ONLINE! So you can order them to the store for free collection to be guaranteed stock :j:j

Searching "paint brushes" brings up the other reductions on them too, just some of them say "back soon" so they cannot be ordered, but it's a good example of what some stores will still have in stock! :j
