for discount tickets try sites like www.broadwaybox.com/london www.theboxoffice.com www.whatsonstage.com etc i have used them all in the past for cheap tickets
also if you try the shows own websites, usually cheaper than ticketmaster if ticketmaster are not their main agent (and compair the ticket fees and allocations with see tickets as well)
as for shows to see there are loads on at the moment, what type are you looking for - musical, play, comedy, dance etc? if you have a look on officiallondontheatre.com should give you an idea of whats on
if a musical then would personally recommend legally blonde, avenue q, love never dies, les miserables, phantom of the opera, we will rock you, wicked etc.MFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -

lastminute.com have a deal on at the moment called Maymaddness with discounts off theatre tickets. I have just booked to see Oliver in August for £40 for two tickets. Offer ends at the end of May. Good luck:)0 -
Go through the show/theatre's own website would be my first suggestion. Lastminute.com also have a few 'dinner and show' deals which may be worth looking at. Or, if you don't want to see anything specific, the TKTS booth in Leicester Square is worth checking out to see what they have on the day.
Recommendations wise, I'd suggest Avenue Q, but have friends who rave about Wicked and am planning on seeing that when I can find someone to come with me."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0
