I keep odd socks handy for wiping the dog down after a muddy walk...i find it easier to use a damp sock, like a glove, than towels etc...and it probably feels like a massage to poochy..he loves it!!0

Bin 'em it's a great feeling and socks are soooooooooooooooooooooo cheap these days, I get them from tesco or asda for about a £1 a pair.0

wear odd socks who's gonna know? :rotfl:
if you can't find a use for them, and they are just holding up space, bin them then feel supertastic about yourself after.
i have a terrible habit of keeping socks once the heels are worn, dunno why likes? but i'm making a concerted effort to chuck them all out, i have so many i won't even notice!0 -
right, I've decided. I'm matching up what I can tonight when the kids are in bed then the rest can go to sock heaven.
Thanks everyoneAuntie Savingsgirl 24/9/06 :j0 -
you could always keep a couple to use as gags for when the kids annoy you!0

Have a tidy up and a hunt first, as you're guaranteed to find the pairs as soon as you throw them out!Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

I'm such a tight sado that when my socks are unwearably holey I cut the foot off and wear the leg part to extend the length of my winter socks, I put the cut-offs on first, then my decent socks over, I get an extra 3 or 4 inches of warm calf this way -
Having said this my socks are all black so that they don't really show that I'm wearing a sock and a bit, if you had different colours and patterns you'd have to be either much younger than me (50) or so much older that you couldn't care less :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0
