I had an old boss who purposely wore odd socks! Made me laugh every day.:rotfl:
If there's anything I know I won't use, I ebay it or chuck it out. I'm not a believer in keeping things 'just in case'.Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -
Chuck them -they drive you mad ! and old socks feel horrible.0

I tend to do three things with old odd socks.
1. use them as dusters or cleaning rags.
2. give them to the children so they can make something, like sock puppets.
3. bin them.Success means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY. Johnny Cash

Bin them! I have a tendency to keep the mismatched socks, waiting forlornly for the stray ones to turn up. Then every now and again I chuck them out, surprisingly great feeling of liberation! [Though i do sometimes miss the satisfaction of uniting the long lost pair  ]0

If you have too many to use for cleaning and can't bear to throw them all at once, you could do it gradually...but I bet you you'd feel loads better if you chuck them all straight in the bin0

cut the toes off and sew them into a long sausage, then fill with other odd socks (and the toe bits) and you've a draught excluder. sadly i did this to prove i could find a use for a very large box of odd socks i'd accumulated.£2 saver club 30th sept 198 £2 coins = £396(£350 banked)0

Flog them on e-bay - you'd be surprised what people will buy out there. Make if fun, tell them this is where washing machines sending them when they've swallowed them.0
