my best ever Banger was a Mazda 323 . £250 and i got three years and 16K miles out if it . never went wrong , never had to spend anything on it ( except routine servicing and when i smashed a light ) . it was also a very nice car to drive , very comfy and a handled superb .

eventually needed bodywork repairs that made repair unworthy ( it was 25 years old by then ) .

Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:
