Change of Electricity Supplier
I have recently bit the bullet and changed my electricity supplier from powergen to Ebico.
I have one question (which may be very silly but i'll ask it), when shall i cancel my standing order to Powergen.
My new Ebico supply starts today (21st Aug), i have had correspondence from Ebico confirming my direct debit details and start date.
Powergen owe me £146 so i would guess at some point i will get that back as a cheque but i'm a little worried that they continue to take payment from me on a monthly basis.
I know i'm a litle paranoid and untrusting but would rather cancel the standing order so that i have peace of mind that i'm only paying one electricity supplier.
Thanks for any assistance

Cancel your powergen standing order so that they can't take any more. You should get your credit balance when the final bill is calculated. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
