  • I agree entirely, Eternal. Hopefully welshtiger, or others wouldnt do this. Please dont try anything like this. Families have a great time anyway and queueing is just part of the fun!!(sort of)

I think welshtigeress meant that they hired a wheelchair because her husband is disabled and wouldn't have been able to walk all day.

Once someone has been to Thorpe Park, can they please let us know:

What type are the free tickets? Are they the standard ones that do not include the special rides such as Extreme and Stealth?

Where the tickets are picked up from, the advanced ticket collection point or from the usual sales place?

We went to Thorpe Park yesterday and had a BRILLIANT time!!
Took the e-mail to one of the ticket booths, cashier tried to tell me it was for one ticket, so I got her to read it again. Then was given 4 tickets. I took a bank statement as ID, but she didn't ask to see it.
The tickets give you full access to all the rides, no extras to pay for - unless you want the fast track tickets to avoid the LONG Q's.
We got there for half nine in the morning, and if we'd been quick, we would have been able to get on all the rides as there wasn't many people there then. By about lunch time the place was full and the waiting times for the rides was at least 45 minutes.
Didn't think X:/No Way Out ride was worth the 45 min wait. 2 min ride, goes backward in the dark, but really tame. Rush though was well worth going on, although O/H had nightmares of falling all last night.
We took all our lunch with us, and there was plenty of (free) lockers all around the park.
All in all, a brilliant day that didn't cost us a single penny!!
    Thanks OP :T
