I think it's the sheer volume of orders that has forced them to pull it, rather than anyone ordering goods that don't adhere to the code's requirements.
I agree. They should be able to design systems to cope with voucher codes. I know Paypal are a bigger outfit but they seem to manage to make their discount codes customer specific. Screwfix do too... they store them on their customer files. If their computer systems can't cope then they could make them for use by phone only where they could check that the customer was eligible by checking customer records.
Having said that I think there are a number of people who haven't had cancellation emails yet. Maybe they are going to let some through?0 -
My order just got delivered

Got to admit, I was one of the ppl that ordered under £40, I would of ordered 40 plus originally, til I read that it worked under that amount too.... serves myself right for being greedy , was trying to get sons school uniform together and its just proving far too exspensive for me to get!..... :l my order got cancelled too and offered the free p+p code (which I will use!) in all fairness there not under any obligation to offer you anything if the original code wasnt meant for you, so at least there not being too mean
lol
well done on those that did get their orders though!Tatts :hello: :kisses2:0 -
tatts i phoned today to order an 8.99 item and used the free p&p code as emailed to me, but the woman on the phone told me there was a minimum spend of 30 on the code, which wasnt detailed in my email so beware!0

Why don't you put the order in online then? Like you said the email does not mention a minimum spend... It would be interesting to see what reason they would give if they cancelled your order on this one if they issued you with the code and have no T&C's to point to as a reason for cancelling.0 -
