Freezing Interest - Help!?

Hi,
I want to write to my credit card company and ask them to freeze the interest and charges on my account.
I have a £2000 limit and due to a few months of unforeseen expense I’ve missed a few payments and the interest and charges have taken me over my limit and its starting to snowball.
I want to get the debt paid off but all I seem to be doing is paying off interest and the actual balance doesn’t seem to be falling!
Does anybody have a draft letter that I may find useful? i want to get it sorted before it starts to become an issue!

Presty - do you know the implications of asking them to freeze your interest etc? Your credit rating will be shot to pieces... it may be dodgy at the moment, but be much worse...
Before embarking on this, can I suggest reposting on the DFW section of the site and using the links at the top of these page to CCCS, PayPlan, CAB to talk over your financial problems please?
