I'm glad you can claim for the model, I really hope the coral doesn't leave you out of pocket x

Well, as expected the worst has happened and it looks like they are all turning up dead so assuming I refund everyone I'll end up £30 out of pocket. Seems as though the packs were too hot rather than too cold.

Needless to say I am not happy and with being so tired as well I'm feeling very :(.

I will catch up with everyones diaries over the weekend x

  • Oh No, sounds like it is a bit of a guessing game posting the corals, will you try again in future or will you just give up on it?

    Hi all,

Thanks for your comments of support over the last few days, I can honestly say it has been HELL! I have spent hours making boxes and filling boxes to ship the coral out, the flat is a mess and I am soooooooooo tired :(. I haven't heard from the 3 other buyers still, not sure whether to assume somehow theirs was ok? I did message the buyers from the last shipment to say they needed to contact me the same day if there was a problem. I had planned to send out another 4 on Monday but emailed the buyers today to explain that I was having problems and thought that it wasn't wise to ship when I couldn't guarantee safe delivery and would obviously issue a refund. One buyer has already come back and said she is disappointed but understands and would like to buy in the future if I decide to ship again. One of my first buyers is fairly local so OH has offered to deliver him a replacement next week as he booked two days off - bless him :).

Really wasn't the outcome I had hoped for at all. Went to mums tonight and told her what had happened and she has given me £20 and is taking me for lunch tomorrow so I am very lucky that I have such a supportive family. Work has been manic and will be for a while now and on top of that I have LOADS of revision to do as got another 2 exams next month .

Very glad it's the weekend to say the least! Hopefully doing fireworks display tomorrow night as long as it doesn't rain and Frankie Boyle on Sunday with some revision thrown in for good effect :rotfl:. I also need to catch up with you lovely lot xxx

    Morning hun

    How you feeling today?

Bless your mum for the £20, do you think you will bother with the coral again?

Enjoy the fireworks tonight, hope it stays dry for you. It was lashing it down here last night!

  • Annoying about the corals Jody. Sounds like we've all been miserable this week!

Sun is shining here this morning though. :)
  • Such a shame about the corals. My OH does a website for an aquatic shop and I'm friendly with the guys who own it, do you want me to ask the best way to package corals for posting if you want to try again? Not saying it was anything you did but there could be a method you haven't heard of before. xx

Hi Kat, thanks very much for your offer of help! I may try again next Spring as it's starting to get cold again now, I think I will leave it to the professionals in the mean time. :rotfl:

Another one died unfortunately so I have been issuing refund right left and centre, am past being upset about it now, I tried and it didn't work, no point being miserable about it forever :o.

The weekend has just FLOWN past, ridiculously! Went for lunch with my mum aon Saturday and took 3 tops back so that's £25 coming back to my bank :T, I also only spent £4 on some new undies as mum bought me lunch. Then got home and went to fireworks, they were great but we queued most of the time we were there - either for food/teas and the queue to get out was awful, I got some good pics though so will put them on FB at some point this week :).

Yesterday I did some tidying, a few hours revision then we went to Hastings to see Frankie Boyle, he was hilarious although verging on unacceptable :rotfl:. Grabbed a sarnie and some chips there and managed to burn my tongue , got home about 11.30pm and was up at 7am so still tired!!

Payment has gone over to Payplan so I am now sub £6k!

:j curent debt is £5,917.58, must update my siggy and re do my figures based on number of days.

Will slowly get round to catching up with you all xxxx
